Skins is a DJ/Producer quickly on the rise; and for good reason. His latest mix, on the Scottish based digital Label and Podcast Series Hypnotic Groove, is a must listen for anyone into electronic music. The Leeds based DJ/Producer has just created his own self-titled label, Skinsdub; with the fantastic first release coming out last week, Skins001. That said he has been producing some brilliant tunes for years now which has not gone unnoticed here at Mantissa – with some of his unreleased tunes such as Sunday Jam, and Indeterminate being favourites over here.
Skins starts off the mix slowly some more experimental pieces of music, before moving expertly into some more bass heavy rollers. He then weaves between genres and styles with ease to take you on a wonderful journey through some of his extensive library – finishing on Appleblim’s and Peverelist’s track Circling.
A mix perfect for any time of day.
