A downtempo house groover with colourful sounds, a collection of textures and soul scattered all over it. This amalgamation produces something that is laid back but still kicking it simultaneously. ‘The Love I Need’ in another fantastic piece of work from the creative FaltyDL.
Swinging percussion ticks away and warming beeps frequent the soundscape, with their dynamics organically changing under sweeping synths and keys. Vocal snippets are littered here filling any open spaces. The dubby breakdown is lovely, and as a listener it introduces something you don’t quite expect. The tune then dismantles itself before a short bassline comes in disrupting the flow. It’s lovely hearing how the beat pulls itself back together; just a little moment that I found particularly interesting.
