The plodding/funky bassline and tight drum work will home in on any dancers second nature to keep the feet stepping. Spacey synths add colour, in tow with periodic “beep doublets” that seem to recede from you. Throughout the track, sections of the structure repeat new wandering motifs that provide something fresh to the listener. These motifs evolve melodically, texturally and in the timbre of the sounds – some of which wouldn’t be out of place in a sci-fi film.
